Blocking

Over the course of last term and this term I have learnt what stage blocking is and how important it is to do.

Blocking is when an actor plans and writes down when and how they move about the stage, where they come on from, any movement of props or wooden blocks and any added stage directions or lines. 

Ive learnt that by writing down your blocking, extra notes and go over your blocking dramatically enhances your performance and the speed of rehearsals.
