What does Ara say about herself?
(From scene 17-36)

• Ara says she loves Kojo, page 55 "i'm in love with him because-"
• Ara says she if off to study "somthing good", page 59 "I'm going to school. My paperwork came through. I got asylum status. I can go to school."
• Ara says that she likes tomato soup, page 55 "...Because i like tomato soup."

What does Ara say about other people?

• Ara says Kojo is useless, page 54 "You're useless."
• Ara says Kojo is funny, page 55 "Because you're funny."
• Ara says Kojo laughs like a duck, page 55 "Because you laugh like a duck."
• Ara syas that Kojo has the saddest eyes she has ever seen, page 55 "Because you have the saddest eyes I have ever seen."
• Ara says Kojo likes tomato soup, page 55 "Because you like tomato soup..."
• Ara says that Kojo is her only family, page 55 "Because you're my only family"

• Ara says Kojo is a nutter, page 43 "You're a nutter. Nut nut..."
• Ara says Kojo is strong, page 51 "He's very strong. Look."

What do other people say about Ara?

• Manger tells Ara to keep out of it, page 47 "Ara you keep out of it."
• Trader says that she is taking the piss, page 52 "Your taking the piss."

From this information you can see that Ara says alot about Kojo and not alot about others but also that not many people say things about Ara. This suggests to me that she may be mature and may try to say out of things and peoples way, endless it is to do with Kojo.

Ara talks more about Kojo then she does herself. This shows that she cares alot about him and perhaps focuses on his life rather then her own.
