What was good:
In last weeks lesson Jacob really started to explore the role of the manager. He tried different voices which he thought would fit and started to take on the role of the caring and trustworthy character.
He showed that he can independently make decisions about his character and act them out whilst rehearsing. He took time to think about the different ways he could be as the manger which i thought was good because he showed a clear understanding of his role and showed that he is beginning to develop the role of the manager.
Things he could improve on:
Although we are still in the early stages of rehearsing, knowing lines may help Jacob to put his changes and developments of his character into practice more easily without having to worry about lines and looking at the script.
And making notes on the changes he makes or ideas about voices and mannerisms may also help to remind him of the changes but also help him to decide which ways he is going to develop his role.
